Evening in Leather |

I am really getting to like Indianapolis! I was back there in October for my last adventure of the year |

For a town with the reputation of being very conservative and straight-laced, I have found it to be a great place |

I got into Indy on a Friday afternoon and immediately got ready for my evening out. I had a couple of |

Saturday morning I slept in until housekeeping woke me up. I figured I would need all the rest I could
get, so I hadn't set my alarm. Dressing quickly, I continued en femme, although very casually, in a T-Shirt,
denim stretch pants and flats. The resulting look must have been fairly passable as I got no real glaring stares
or double takes as I ventured across the street to IHOP for a late breakfast.
Right at 3 p.m. someone knocked at my door wanting to know if I had seen Tammy yet. The person
needed to know where to put some of the items for the evening's vending. As I was taking care of that,
Mistress Constance and her sub arrived with several pieces of equipment for the play space. A quick call to
Tammie on my cell phone gave me the directions we needed to get started setting things up. By the time
Tammy got there we had the play space almost finished and began getting the other room we would be using
ready. By this time guests were starting to check in to the hotel, and it continued to be "old home week" as I
greeted more folks I had met at New Attitude and other events. Sometime during the early evening's activities
another person asked me if I had been at BMSL and part of the TG fashion show there. I continue to marvel at
the impact that show had on folks!
One of the real pleasures of the evening was again sharing a room with Meg, who had arrived late in
the afternoon. She was quickly put to work helping Tammie out. She was "in service" to Tammy and Sir for
the evening, which I thought was a nice deal for her. A real nice deli style dinner for all was the start the formal
part of the evening. During dinner I had a chance to visit with Ruby and Eva, a couple I had spent a lot of time
talking with at New Attitude. Again it was fun visiting with old friends and meeting a lot more great people.
Throughout the day and evening I had had the chance to visit with Tim and Bobbi form MT Leathers, who I had
met during New Attitude. They had their wares setup here also and had even given Tammie the use of a neat
sling for the play space.
An event at this hotel would not have been complete without a visit seeing Sgt Mc., the supervisor of the
hotel's security officers. Although he was not working the hotel that night, he had stopped by to speak with the
security officer on duty. I know I surprised him, and gave him a good laugh to, when I ran into him in the hotel's
lobby on one of my many errands for Tammy. Sgt Mc came back to the area we were using before he had to
leave, visiting with us for a bit and making sure the officer there that night knew he could call on us for help if
needed. The friendship and cooperation that has developed between us and all the security officers we've
met at the hotel has been great. It is definitely one area we do not worry about too much there.
The remainder of the evening was a great mix of watching over the event and visiting with the fine folks
in attendance. I was able to watch some really great scenes too as the play went all the way to the planned
closing time of the play space!
